By accessing or using MyBrainBestie, a service operated by Stellar Seven Systems LLC ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

MyBrainBestie is an AI-powered peer conversation companion that provides genuine, opinionated conversation, pattern recognition, and proactive suggestions to help you think through life, work, and relationships. The Service includes features such as conversation memory, nightly pattern synthesis, calendar and email integration, and proactive insights.

3. Not Medical or Professional Advice

MyBrainBestie is NOT a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.

MyBrainBestie is an AI companion, not a licensed healthcare provider
Do not rely on MyBrainBestie for diagnosis, treatment, or medical decisions
Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns
The AI may generate inaccurate or inappropriate responses

4. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

5. Subscription Terms

MyBrainBestie offers a simple two-state model:

Free trial: 7 days of full access from account creation, no payment required
Paid plan: All features — conversation memory, synthesis, calendar and email integration, voice responses, and more

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI system (prompt injection, jailbreaking)
Share content that is harmful, threatening, or harassing
Use the Service to generate harmful, misleading, or illegal content
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
Exceed reasonable usage limits or intentionally overload our systems

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and branding, is owned by Stellar Seven Systems LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create and share through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

MyBrainBestie's responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. AI-generated content does not represent professional advice. You should independently verify any important information before acting on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated response.

9. Google Integration

Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Tasks integrations are optional and user-authorized. By connecting your Google account, you authorize MyBrainBestie to access the specific scopes you approve during the OAuth consent process. You may revoke this access at any time through your Settings or through your Google Account permissions. Our use of Google data complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy.

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STELLAR SEVEN SYSTEMS LLC (OPERATOR OF MYBRAINBESTIE) AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that is harmful to other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy (within 30 days).

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-service notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
